We will have a new sermon on our website every week

Prelude

Enjoy this beautiful organ music being played by our organist, Dixie Detgen.

The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.

Call to Worship for 2.28.2021

One: Lent calls us to journey, this and every day, following Jesus wherever he leads us.  Lent calls us to worship together, to tell future generations the good news.

All: Lent calls to bring God’s hope to all people.

One: Lent calls us to faithful living, to trust the One who gives us life.

All: Lent calls each of us to take up our cross, to trust the One who bears it with us.
One: Lent calls us to journey with God.

All: Let us worship God, who walks with us, this and every day.  All we like sheep have gone astray; we have all turned to our own way, and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. Amen.

Offertory Meditation on 2.28.2021

Sermon from Pastor Ellen on 2.28.2021

Colossians 2: 13 – 14 (MSG)

“When you were stuck in your old sin-dead life, you were incapable of responding to God. God brought you alive—right along with Christ! Think of it! All sins forgiven, the slate wiped clean, that old arrest warrant canceled and nailed to Christ’s cross.”
